I've been using this for a few years and since I switched to using a double edged razor. I prefer cream to soap and wifey likes the smell. It does the job and one large pea sized amount provides enough lather for two passes. Much better and much cheaper than the gel I used to use with my old multi blade razor.

To me there are two things about shaving cream that are important. 1. The scent and 2. The performance. The scent here is OK it isn't bad it just isn't as good as Castle Forbes or indeed as the other products in this same range. It smells more soapy than it does of limes, which may not be surprising but the Castle Forbes cream really doesn't. The performance on the other hand is second to none and certainly as good if not better than the aforementioned Castle Forbes. I use a heated scuttle for a nice warm lather and Castle Forbes lather deteriorates between passes due to the heat, that is not the case with this stuff it remains great throughout.

The only other Truefitt & Hill cream I had in my Shaving Arsenal was the No.10. which I absolutely adore.
This West Indian Limes has convinced me that Truefitt & Hill make one of the finest Creams that is available today! Such a Fantastic Fragrance and performance, it will be very hard to beat. I want the Aftershave now!

Trafalgar, Grafton, or the 1805?? Decisions Decisions.
