Merkur 20c with long black handle. Best shave ever! My previous razor had the little doors that open up, mechanism totally jammed on Friday. Ordered this item, fast delivery on the Monday. My new razor got through 4-5 day's growth with ease. Perfectly balanced and weighted, the longer handle means swivelling from downward to upward shaving is a very natural movement. Beautifully finished, the black handle affords secure grip when wet. Glad to get back to the basic design with no moving parts to go wrong. Excellent value for such a quality razor at about £40 with delivery.

I bought this razor for holiday use as I own a Merkur HD38c that is a bit on the heavy side for a wash bag and is an excellent razor. I prefer the long handle versions as I find them are easy to manoeuvre.
The design of the 20c is sleek and modern with a milled black handle and chrome barrels at both ends along with the standard Merkur head and is very well balanced.
For anyone looking for an up to date design that fits well into a modern bathroom and also gives an excellent shave this is the one for you.
My only gripe is the price at £33.95 is it worth £4 more than the 34c? however pick one up and find handle is very tactile and I bet you but one.
Service from TSC is great as usual.
