What a great little brush as with all natural hair brushes a little smell on the first few shaved but will go with use. Hold hair and fills out after use. It creates a brilliant lather with tobs cream well worth the money and great advise and service from the staff thank you.

Returning to DE shaving after about 25 years away.

I don’t even remember what my previous brush was made of, but this sure beats it.

Has lost a couple of hairs in three shaves, but I expected that.

Builds a great lather easily with cream, I’m not as good with the soap block yet though.

The difference between this and my last brush is so stunning, it is making me feel like treating myself to a Silvertip in the future.........and maybe a new razor.......and.......

I can only assume that either other people on here have received a different brush or that they've never used a good one. My brush was terrible, the worst shaving brush I have ever tried. It was losing multiple hairs on every use and was truly awful at producing lather. First uses brought out a terrible smell and discolouration of the water, I did wait for several more weeks but the brush still didn't produce lather well.
It really couldn't hold a candle to my battered old New Forest brush or my Rooney. Thankfully Traditional Shaving agreed to swap it for something else, for just £16 more I have now ordered a Simpson best brush.

I needed / wanted a new and better brush. After looking through just about all of them I chose this to replace my old Edwin Jagger version. The EJ that I had was pure badger and this is best badger. I didn't really think it would make much difference and was a little disappointed that it was a little smaller than the EJ. The disappointment melted away when I used it for the first time. I soaked it for around ten minutes in moderately hot water and then hit the soap. The lather created was smooth and creamy, and as someone else mentioned, it felt smooth on a second pass as well. I highly recommend this brush to anyone. Still a happy customer, and thank you for the fudge that was in the box with it.

Creates a wonderful smooth lather. I've been using mine for a few months now and I can definitely confirm it is very well made.
