About the Brand

For nearly a century, Proraso has made shaving a daily ritual to enjoy. Founded in 1948 by Piero Martelli, the brand captured the spirit of post-war Italy with its refreshing Pre Shave Cream, now a classic in the Eucalyptus and Menthol fragrance. It softens beard hair for a closer, more comfortable shave and can even be used as a cooling aftershave.

This is amazing stuff - great consistency and it's also great value.

So why the 4 stars ?.. unless you love the smell of green tea, the scent will take a little getting used to. Unfortunately, I can't smell the apple and lime that's listed on the Proraso website.

I also use the Lime variety of my namesake so maybe I was setting my sights too high. Afterall, it does cost double the price of Proraso !

Final word - definitely recommend !!!

These Italians sure know how how to give the perfect shave.Start with the Proraso pre-cream (white) then the Proraso shaving cream(white) and then finish off with the After shave cream . Its not greasy ,you only need a small amount, perfectly scented ( the Proraso )way, it absorbs into the skin very quickly . This a must for those of us who suffer with sensitive skin.
