I purchased this Mercury chrome safety shaver quite awhile ago now from this company and have set this shaver on all the different shaving closeness of the blade; now this shaver is set at 1 and it still cuts me, me even though it is a good shaver but I cannot fathom out when it is set at number 1 why it still gives a bad shave.

Really struggling to enjoy this razor. The build quality is undoubtedly fantastic, but even on level 1 it is a much more agreesive cut that the Merkur 34C and Timor I'm used to. I was hoping the adjustable would replace both. I will persist for another week or two to see if I get used to it, and try another brand of blade. Unfortunately but this may end an expensive error at the back of the drawer.

Upgraded to this from a DE89. much more aggressive which is what I needed, even at the lowest settling. Heavy but still a pleasure to use and very well made. I'm using them with feather blades.

Was a bit cautious when I bought this razor as I have only been DE shaving for around four months .
What an amazing shave , always use on number 6 and get a fantastic shave without any cuts , would recommend this even though it is expensive compared to others . Great razor , great service from TSCo.
