Classic Open Comb 15C Safety Razor Chrome

My daughter bought one of these beauties for my birthday a couple of weeks ago not realising that I already had the longer handled 25C version. Ive used it daily since then and have got on really well with it. There are plenty of reviews on here that show they are both excellent but if you are not sure which one to go for I can assure you they are both great and the length of the handle makes little difference to the overall shaving experience. The way in which you hold them is a little different but your hand will find it natural sweet spot. I have absolutely no preference- I love them both. ( I was lucky enough to get hold of a really lovely 1963 Gillette Slim recently- it's a thing of beauty but these both give a better shave). There, I've said it!

Great shaver, not at all aggressive, perfect weight easily slices through beard. Originally thought it was a little small, once used to it no problem, good for travelling.

this came as part of a pre packaged starter kit, I'm a particularly stubbly kind of guy electric razors keep it short but that's it and even the best disposable multi blade will only give a reasonably smooth shave and is useless after just one shave. Getting married next year I'm determined to have that baby smooth face I've dreamed of and after a little research I found out about these traditional old razors like my grandad used to use having a resurgence. Anyway kit ordered and received promptly and well packaged, my first experience took 30 minutes after amazing myself with YouTube videos showing how I've been shaving badly the last 25 years, what can I say so smooth and my face feels great, cut through my tough whiskers a treat with no dragging and no razor burn, yes this style of shaving takes a little longer but an everyday shave soon gets down to a 5 minute single pass and my weekend special shave is done in a little over 10 minutes, however the time is unimportant as others have said shaving this way is a real treat to all the senses, looks great, feels great and with a little sandalwood soap and the included badger brush smells great too. Finally this method of shaving achieves something unachievable any other way and that's exfoliation if the skin, a little aftershave balm afterwards and my wife to be can't keep her hands off, definitely a winner.....

Great little razor scythed it's way through 4 days beard growth no problem .gives a good close shave in 2 passes. Nice quality and balance without being to aggressive for a open comb razor. Also ideal to slip into the holiday shave bag. Great service fromTSR.
