Cyril R Salter shaving creams are indeed a luxury and worth every penny too. One tub should last for months because the product lathers so well from such a small amount of cream. Cyril R Salter creams are a prime example of why traditional shaving creams are in a league above the aerosol gloops found in supermarkets. This cream truly makes the razor glide across the skin.

The fragrances are definitely a draw, and the mint variety is no exception. As a fellow reviewer put, the Cyril Salter mint fragrance is considerably more refined than an off the shelf mint shaving gel. It is one of the milder fragrances in the range, but I think this was a deliberate choice because it is a shaving cream and not going on your teeth! However, it is distinctive.

Using this cream makes shaving feel like you're pampering yourself. My advice is treat yourself!

Could do with a bit more menthol for that extra 'zing' but very fresh and minty, smells a bit like toothpaste. Cream is very thick and gives a good shave.
